Arknights
The official Arknights channel has published the EP Innocence, a track tied to Kal'tsit Esperanta. Vocals and lyrics are by ユリカリパブリック, and the composition is by 松林凜. It lands in the same week that Episode 17, Critical Phase Transition, is running on the global server, with the alternate Kal'tsit headlining the celebration banner.
What the Innocence EP is
An EP is the format Arknights uses for song releases tied to the game, and Innocence follows it: a single track built around Kal'tsit Esperanta, published on the official channel. The announcement covers the music and nothing else. There is no reward, no operator and no in-game mission attached to the song in what was published, so it does not change your account or anything you have to do to progress.
For players, the value is simple. You can hear the track while you work through the event stages, and you get a better feel for the character before you decide whether to pull for her. If you were hoping for a login bonus or a themed item out of this, there is none to collect.
What changes with Episode 17
Critical Phase Transition is the celebration event for the global server, and it is the one carrying this year's Episode 17. It runs from October 14 at 15:00 UTC through October 28. The main story moves forward, and Kal'tsit Esperanta is the headline addition.
She is a 6★ medic in the Watchman class. According to the community wiki, she is an alternate version of Kal'tsit, introduced in this episode. The other new operators include Closure, a 6★ Vanguard in the Tactician class.
That two-week window is where everything on the event lives: the story chapters, the banner and the daily free pulls. Miss the window and you wait for whatever comes next.
How the Sealed With Time banner works
Sealed With Time is a limited celebration headhunting banner. Kal'tsit Esperanta is on it as the limited 6★, and Closure appears on the banner too. Exusiai the New Covenant joined the limited pool, and Virtuosa left the list of operators with a secondary rate-up, so if you were chasing that specific secondary slot, it changed.
Three practical points:
- You get one free pull on the banner each day. It does not accumulate, so you have to log in daily to use it.
- After 300 pulls on this banner, you can redeem Kal'tsit Esperanta for free.
- For anyone who wants her, this banner is the most direct chance to get her.
The community wiki also notes that Kal'tsit Esperanta is the banner's main attraction because of the limited tag.
What to do now
If you want Kal'tsit Esperanta, run two things side by side. Log in every day for the free pull, and add up your Orundum and Headhunting Permits before you start spending, so you know how far the 300-pull guarantee actually is for you. If you already have a solid Vanguard line, you can take your time on whether Closure is worth the resources.
Limited banners are where resources disappear fastest, and the free daily pull is the cheapest part of this event. Do not waste it. Twenty-eight runs from October 14 to October 28 are a lot of pulls you get for nothing, as long as you remember to open the game.
If you want to follow the event from another angle, the Emergent Pulse Project is taking video submissions about Critical Phase Transition from October 14 to November 4, 2026. The prizes include Headhunting Permits and Google Play or Apple gift cards.
The EP is up on the official channel, so you can hear it before you start on the episode itself.
