The collaboration between Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail got a teaser with Kafka and Robin, two Honkai: Star Rail characters who will show up in New Eridu. The news came out on October 10, 2026, and HoYoverse itself had already revealed the collaboration characters on October 9.

For Honkai: Star Rail players, the change is indirect. Nothing changes on your Astral Express, in your teams or in your banners because of this teaser. What changes is that two characters from your game now exist in the other game from the same developer, with their own story and their own battles.

What has been confirmed

The headlines about this agree on a few points:

  • Zenless Zone Zero version 3.3 got a release date and brought a teaser of the collaboration characters.
  • Kafka and Robin will appear in New Eridu, the city of Zenless Zone Zero.
  • One of the news items mentions a crossover in Zenless Zone Zero version 3.4, while the other says 3.3. So read the official date in game or on the Zenless Zone Zero channel before planning your spending.

The exact arrival date for the two characters is not in the data we have here. Until the developer publishes the full calendar, we would rather not pin down a day.

Who Kafka and Robin are

Kafka is a member of the Stellaron Hunters, the group of hunters that follows Elio's predictions. Robin is a famous singer from Penacony and one of the central characters of that planet's story. Neither of them is part of the Astral Express crew, so their presence in New Eridu does not depend on the train you ride in your game.

What changes for Honkai: Star Rail players

If you play both games, the collaboration is a chance to see Kafka and Robin in another context. Their story in Zenless Zone Zero is not available to read yet, and we have no details about what they do there beyond the teaser.

If you only play Honkai: Star Rail, you do not need to jump into Zenless Zone Zero to enjoy your game. The collaboration rewards belong to the other title, and the news brings no prize for Star Rail.

To redeem, finish the opening tutorial to unlock the Mail. On the official redemption site, sign in with your HoYoverse account, pick your server, paste the code and click Redeem. In game, open the phone menu, tap the three dots next to your Trailblaze Level and choose Redemption Code. The rewards land in the Mail, the envelope icon in the menu. Each code only works on the server you picked (America, Europe, Asia or TW/HK/MO).

Is it worth following?

If you play both games, yes: it is a collaboration made by the same developer, and Kafka and Robin already have a fan base in Star Rail. If you only play Star Rail, we do not recommend chasing anything right now. Wait for the official calendar, which is what will say when the collaboration starts and how long it stays up.
