Another batch of Reverse: 1999 codes is out, and two of them are new on our list: ModernBuildings and Fallingwater. Both hand out a pile of Sharpodonty and a stack of materials, and both go in through the same screen inside the game. Here is what each one gives, how to redeem them, and how to keep track of the ones that come next.

What each code gives

  • ModernBuildings: 1 Jar of Picrasma Candy, 10 Enlighten II, 20,000 Sharpodonty and 3 Moment of Dissonance.
  • Fallingwater: 30 Clear Drop, 2 MF Polarization, 20,000 Sharpodonty and 2 Fine Insight Package.

Both pay the same 20,000 Sharpodonty. The difference is where the rest of the value sits: Fallingwater carries the Clear Drop, which is the summon currency, so it is the one that matters most if you are saving for pulls. ModernBuildings pays out better in level-up items, and it is the one to open if your characters are waiting on materials. They are separate codes, so both fit on the same account, and there is no reason to pick between them.

How to redeem them in the game

1. Finish the tutorial and get to the main screen.
2. Tap the three-line icon and open Settings.
3. In the account section, tap the button next to Redeem Code, paste the code and confirm.
4. The rewards arrive right away.

Codes only work inside the game. Each one can be used once per account, so if you keep a second account on the same phone, or accounts on different servers, you have to redeem it on each of them separately. Pasting beats typing, too: these codes are long enough that a single wrong character gets you nothing.

When a code does not go through

Two things explain almost every code that refuses to work: it expired, or that account already used it. Both are worth checking before you decide the code is fake, because the lists that circulate are usually out of date rather than made up. And remember the code only goes in after the tutorial, on the account you are actually logged into. Redeeming it on the wrong account spends the code for nothing.

Which codes are still valid

Some codes have no deadline at all. Among the ones we found, 5YRBRF9 is listed as permanent, with 19,999 Dust, 19,999 Sharpodonty and three Fine Insight Package. 1999GIFT, which gives 50 Clear Drop and 19,999 Dust, also shows up as permanent on some lists.

The lists we found disagree about plenty of older codes, and some mark as active what others already show as expired. Before you go digging for a code from weeks ago, the honest test is opening the game and checking whether it still takes it. Nothing outside the game can confirm that for you.

How long the new ones last

ModernBuildings is valid until the end of Version 3.8. We did not find an expiry date for Fallingwater, so treat it as if it could go offline at any moment and redeem it now rather than at the end of the month. Version 3.8, The Temporal Scale, is still live on mobile and PC.

Version deadlines work differently from calendar ones: the code stops when the version does, not on a fixed date, and there is no countdown bar to watch. Dateless codes are the opposite, and they can sit on a list for months and still work when you finally get around to them.

How to keep up with the next ones

In our opinion, the most practical setup is a notification on your phone the moment a code drops. Many of them have short deadlines and vanish without an announcement, which is the kind of thing you only find out about after missing it. That is why Gacha Focus runs a Discord server that follows codes for gacha games, Reverse: 1999 included. New codes go up there as soon as they appear, so you do not have to re-check the same lists every week and compare which one is behind.
