Reverse: 1999's version 3.9, Rekindled! Games of the Summer-Gold Sea, arrives on November 5 at server time (UTC-5). The date comes from the official video presented by ONiON. Two new 6-star arcanists join the roster, Hedone and Narcissus, alongside a main event set on a sea taken over by competitions and a round of selectors aimed at older 6-stars. The events run until December 14, and the event shop stays open until December 17.
When each thing starts
Version 3.9 goes live on November 5, and the dates below follow the game's server clock. If you want the main deadline on a UTC clock, the event ends at 09:59 UTC on December 14.
- Main event, Story mode: from November 5.
- Hard mode: November 12 to December 14.
- Event shop: until December 17.
- Side events such as Ephaistonos Open and Spectator Handbook: November 5 to December 14.
The main event asks for 1ST-16 [Heaven Apostles] cleared. Ephaistonos Open needs RG8-15 [With Best Wishes]. If you are behind on either, those two weeks before the shop closes are tight, so pick one of them and push.
Hedone and Narcissus on the banners
There are two character banners, one per phase. From November 5 to November 26, Hedone (Mineral, 6-star) is the featured unit. From November 26 to December 17, the spotlight moves to Narcissus (Beast, 6-star).
Both banners list 5-star characters as rate-ups, but the names are not in the sources we checked, so open the in-game details before spending. On both of them, the first ten summons guarantee at least one 5-star or higher.
Each character also gets a solo story. Hedone's is "Of Mortals and Immortality", running with her banner from November 5 to November 26. Narcissus's is "Of All Ripples, the Quietest", from November 26 to December 17. Both give Clear Drops and growth materials.
Ripples on the Water and Boon of the Water
If your account already runs on older 6-stars, 3.9 has two selectors for you. Ripples on the Water runs from November 5 to December 17. You choose one 6-star from Moldir, Noire, Regulus, Melania, Recoleta or Hissabeth, and you can change that pick at any time. The first 6-star you pull is guaranteed to be the one you chose. After that, every 6-star has a 50% chance of being yours, and losing that roll guarantees the next one. The first ten pulls cost only Unilog x7.
Boon of the Water runs from December 1 to December 17. Here you choose three 6-stars from Ulrich, Corvus, Igor, Marsha, Barcarola, Aleph, Lorentz Butterfly, Charon and Recoleta. Any 6-star that shows up on this banner will be one of the three you picked. The first ten pulls cost Unilog x5, and the guarantee does not carry over once the event ends.
What to do now
Until November 5, the priority is redeeming the active codes. They give Clear Drops, Dust, Sharpodonty and insight packs, and each one works once per account. 1999GIFT gives Clear Drop x50 and Dust x19999. EchoStone gives Clear Drop x30, Enlighten III x3 and Sharpodonty x20000.
To redeem, finish the tutorial and reach the main screen. Tap the three-line icon, open Settings and, in the account area, tap the button next to Redeem code. Paste the code and confirm. The rewards land right away, and redemption only works inside the game.
What to spend Confetti Strips on
The shop tied to Hedone is called Hedone's Hoard. It takes Confetti Strips from the main event and stays open until December 17. The item most people want there is the 6-star Psychube [Arrow of Verdict]. If that is your target, start saving Confetti Strips from the first day of the event instead of spending them on smaller pickups.
Reset times depend on your own server, so check the dates in the game before you plan a farming session around them.
